Wow, I can't believe it's already May! Only 2 more months of school left. :)
Some highlights this week...
* Students picked their poems this week for the Primary Poetry Recital. Please make sure to practice these poems at home. We will also be spending a little bit of time in class working on these as well. Students are expected to have the poem memorized. Thanks for your support in this at home. :)
* This week, we participated in a library scavenger hunt with Mrs. Medeiros! We learned all about the Dewey Decimal system in helping us find books in not only our library at school, but libraries everywhere as well!
Coming up next week...
* On Monday, May 7, our class will be attending a special assembly to celebrate International Music Day! The students have been practicing a dance called "Sasha". Please ask your child to show you this dance at home! :)
