We had a busy week this week! We have started our unit in Math on Addition and Subtraction. You may have noticed a "Doubles Number Song" that your son/ daughter has brought home. Please try to practice and memorize these facts. I will soon be sending home math flashcards and math games to be practiced at home. More information to come.
We have also started learning about how to be a "Bucket Filler" and ways to avoid dipping into others' buckets. Please ask your student about this, and review it at home.
There was also a blue Emergency form sent home this Friday. Please take some time to fill this out and return back to school as soon as possible. This form will be kept at the office and referred to in case of emergency events.

Tuesday, January 23 is the school Assembly. Parents are more than welcome to attend.
Wednesday, January 24 is a school Theme Day. Please remind your student to come to school dressed in their best Superhero costume!
Wednesday, January 24 is also Donut Day. Mrs. Mantel's class will be selling donuts for $1 at recess to raise money for camp.
Lastly, a reminder that Friday, January 26 is a Pro-D Day, which means there is no school.
