Can you believe it? Christmas is just around the corner! We have been busy in Division 17, getting ready for the holidays.
Highlights...
* Mrs. Smith (our Literacy Helping Teacher) came to visit us this week, and we got to paint our very own bee houses! We didn't know that bees fall asleep in the winter because it's too cold!
* We also had a S.T.E.M. challenge with our big buddies this week building Gingerbread Houses with graham crackers, candy, and icing!
* It was Hot Chocolate Day on Friday, and we got to enjoy a yummy hot chocolate drink made by our awesome Golden Ears P.A.C.! Thanks P.A.C.!
* We learned some sad news this week, that Rannah and her family will be moving to Mission and a new school. :( Her last day will be this Friday. If you get a chance, please wish Rannah good luck! We will definitely miss her in our class.
Reminders...
* Due to the busy week this week, we will take a short break from Words Their Way, and will start again in January.
*Monday, December 18th is our Dress Rehearsal for the Christmas Moosical. We will be performing for the school at 9:00 am. We will also get a chance to watch Team B's performance in the afternoon. Everyone has brought in their costumes, except for a select few. I have written in planners for students who have yet to bring in their costume.
* Tuesday, December 19th is our Performance day for parents/ families. The musical starts at 1:00 pm. If you plan on attending to watch, please try to arrive a little earlier to get seats.
* On Friday, December 22nd, we will be having a Pyjama Day in our class. Feel free to bring a stuffy and come to school comfy!
