Sorry for the delayed post! I left my laptop charger at school, so I wasn't able to post my regular Friday blog! My apologies! :(
Some highlights from this week, an reminders coming up...
* We worked incredibly hard to the very last second collecting non-perishable food items for "Scare the Hunger", and guess what?! WE WON with 85 items! An ice cream party awaits us next week! GOOD WORK DIVISION 17! :)
* Conferences are fast approaching, and I will be sending out my conference schedule on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 6 at 5:00 p.m. through the e-mail(s) that everyone provided to me. Sign-up with me will be first come first served basis. Please reply to my email with your TOP 3 choices.
* You should have received a notice through the Parent Portal last week regarding the Munch-A-Lunch program that the PAC has switched to for Hot Lunch Orders. There will be a Swiss Chalet Hot Lunch Day on November 15th. Orders for this are due Monday, November 6th, and need to be placed online.
* Tuesday, November 7th is our school-wide Primary Reading Celebration! We will participating with Primary grades around the school to read with flashlights in the hallway at school. Students can choose to bring a small flashlight (I will also be providing some as well).
* On Thursday, November 9th at 10:30 a.m., is our school Remembrance Day Assembly. This assembly has a more serious tone and meaning. We will also be collecting money for Poppies.
* A reminder that there is No School : Friday, November 10th (Pro-D Day) and Monday, November 13th (Remembrance Day Holiday)
